Thousands Gather for NJ Religious Rights

Monday, 12/16/19, thousands of NJ citizens gathered at the NJ state house in the first ever rally of it’s kind. There has never been this many people gathering for a single protest at the NJ state house.

Through the bitter cold and raining weather, they stayed for more than 10 hours, while inside the assembly and Senate held certain fate of S2173 in their hands.

After hours of deliberation and an overwhelming support in the assembly, the Senate pulled out, one vote short, saving thousands of NJ students from losing their rights to religion and a public education… for now.

The bill can still be reviewed again before January 13, 2020. If the bill is not reviewed again by Jan 13th, it dies indefinitely.
